The Hispanic Technology Executive Council (HITEC) has proudly announced the laureates of the prestigious HITEC 50 Awards for this year.

The HITEC 50 award honours the top 50 Hispanic leaders who have made significant strides and shown remarkable influence in the technology sector across Latin America, Spain, and Portugal. The awardees are selected for their exceptional contributions to the tech industry and their efforts in fostering the growth of the next generation of Hispanic tech leaders.

This year’s lineup of HITEC 50 includes distinguished leaders from a diverse range of countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Spain, Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru, and Puerto Rico.

Rosa Ramos Kwok, HITEC Chair, expressed her admiration, stating, “These 50 Hispanic technology leaders from throughout Iberoamerica represent the impactful work our leaders are doing throughout the world. This year’s HITEC 50 awardees are outstanding leaders in technology. They are making a difference and I applaud their accomplishment and look forward to their future contributions to the HITEC community and beyond.”

Echoing this sentiment, HITEC Awards Committee Chair Alvaro Celis remarked, “These leaders are forging a path through their innovative work and they are setting an inspiring example for future generations, while making the region a better place for everyone.”

HITEC stands at the forefront of leadership enhancement for Hispanic technology executives, with a mission to bolster the stature and effect of Hispanic leaders in technology, ensuring enduring equity from educational institutions to the executive board.

The individuals honoured with this year’s HITEC 50 will be celebrated at the upcoming HITEC Spring Leadership Summit, hosted by Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Houston, TX, from the 7th to the 9th of May.
