The project saw the creation of central processing facilities and ancillary infrastructure. Completed in 2017, the Hassi Bir Rekaiz Project included construction of a central processing facility, along with 100 production wells and export pipelines to facilitate transportation of oil and gas to existing infrastructure. Entrusted with providing a fast-track engineering study along with cost estimation for 22 different production scenarios, Sofregaz developed process flow diagrams, conducted process simulations, and sized equipment for both utility and production systems. The company also provided cost estimates for both OPEX and CAPEX to ensure the financial feasibility of each scenario.
