With some retailers already predicting a winter of discontent with turkey shortages perhaps more mask wearing , it’s no surprise families up and down the UK are looking for a little (or not so little) pick-me-up this festive season.
So forget keeping things low-key this year, The Range has already seen a spike in sales for their giant inflatable decorations. With prices ranging from £49.99 to £55.99 across the collection, big and bold festive doorscaping is set to be on the agenda for Britain’s ho-ho-homes as soon as November hits.
A spokesperson from The Range said: “Not only did we see demand for Christmas decorations as early as August this year, but we’ve also seen an increased desire from our customers to go big and bold when it comes to their Christmas decor. And that means on the outside of their homes too.
“Gone are the days of a few fairy lights outside, we’ve already seen a huge demand in our stores up and down the country and online for our giant inflatables – and particularly our delightful gingerbread man. As soon as the Halloween decorations come down, expect to see our gingerbread man making his presence felt on a street near you.
“And we all know what the need to keep up with the Jones’ can do when it comes to Christmas decorating trends. We’re predicting Christmas lighting sales across this range to peak from the end of October right up to the Christmas rush.”
The giant inflatable collection is currently available across all 180 of The Range’s UK stores and online. Shoppers are advised to move quickly, however, to ensure their home becomes the envy of their street in the run up to Christmas.
