Plast Eurasia reaches its 35th edition this December in Istanbul, staged by Tüyap. Production technologies, raw materials and plastics machinery will be brought together, while organisers intensify trade visitor outreach in leading European markets before opening.
İstanbul – Plast Eurasia is set for 2-5 December 2026 at Istanbul’s Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, with Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. as organiser, working alongside PAGEV and supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Buyers and purchasing professionals will meet manufacturers, distributors, raw material producers and technology suppliers there to forge commercial links across the plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” according to İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
Outreach to European trade visitors accelerates
Some 3 months ahead of the opening, 90% of the exhibition space has been sold. Organisers anticipate 80,000 visitors, domestic and international, with trade visitor outreach directed at Germany, France, Belgium, Greece, Italy, Romania and Poland, plus Middle East and North Africa markets.
For European professionals, the December show places materials companies, machinery suppliers and other plastics businesses within a single Istanbul venue. The international visitor programme is built to foster new commercial contacts while assisting firms in developing the trading relationships they already have.
Equipment, raw materials and manufacturing technology fill the programme
Two core segments of the show will be plastic production machinery together with raw materials and chemicals. Machinery solutions and next-generation production technologies are also on the agenda, with innovation, efficiency and value-added production counting among the themes driving the fair’s commercial focus.
The breadth of products on display should let technical professionals and buyers assess materials, equipment and production methods within one visit, while exhibitors showcase fresh products, technologies and sector solutions before an international audience.
Anniversary events revisit 35 years of sector change
A Milestones Map forms part of the 35th-anniversary programme, charting chronologically the fair’s key stages alongside developments in the plastics industry. An exhibition of historic plastics production machinery will further illustrate how manufacturing technologies have shifted over the years.
Three companies present throughout the fair’s 35-year journey, Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, will be handed plaques at the opening ceremony in recognition of their enduring support.
Through The Stage is Yours!, exhibitors gain 30-minute presentation slots for sharing success stories, technologies, value-added products and industry solutions with visitors.
Guided routes for hosted buyer delegations
International purchasing delegations will locate relevant product groups and exhibitors more efficiently under the Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme. Planned routes, visits to event and demo areas, entry to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and dedicated support services will be open to participating buyers.
As Plast Eurasia’s Official Airline, Turkish Airlines will provide reductions on qualifying international return flights into Istanbul taken between 25 November and 12 December 2026, with Economy Class fares cut by 10% and Business Class fares by 15%.
