  • The new offering applies Infosys Agentic Foundry, the EdgeVerve AI Next platform and Infosys Topaz™ to integrate production-grade agentic AI across GCC operations, from initial setup through to scale.
  • It builds on Infosys’ experience of more than 100 engagements with GCCs across industries, including the setup and management of centres for organisations such as Lufthansa Systems, zooplus and Danske Bank.

Infosys (NSE: INFY) (BSE: INFY) (NYSE: INFY), a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, has unveiled its AI-First GCC Model — a specialist framework designed to accelerate the establishment and evolution of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) into innovation-driven, AI-enabled hubs that support enterprise growth in an AI-first era.

Building on its long-standing track record with local GCCs, Infosys’ AI-First GCC Model is designed to help enterprises address common challenges in expanding or modernising their capability centres. The model provides comprehensive support across the entire GCC lifecycle — from strategic planning and entity formation to talent development and operational readiness — while enabling AI-led transformation through production-ready agents and a unified platform architecture.

The new GCC model integrates the capabilities of Infosys Agentic Foundry for developing and scaling reliable AI agents, EdgeVerve AI Next as the enterprise platform for applied and agentic AI, and Infosys Topaz™ to embed AI-first services throughout the GCC journey. This framework is strengthened further by Infosys’ expertise in using AI to enhance business processes, improving speed, intelligence and user experience. Recently, Infosys supported Lufthansa Systems in establishing a dedicated GCC focused on developing sustainable, future-ready aviation IT solutions using the generative AI capabilities of Infosys Topaz™.

By aligning technology, talent and transformation, Infosys enables clients to evolve their GCCs into scalable innovation hubs capable of delivering global mandates and driving enterprise growth. Key capabilities include:

  • End-to-end Setup and Transformation:
Comprehensive lifecycle management covering strategic planning, site selection, legal setup, recruitment and operational launch.
  • AI-powered Innovation:
Embedding enterprise AI throughout GCC functions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, speed up delivery and create new business opportunities.
  • Future-ready Talent:
Leveraging the Infosys Springboard digital learning platform and the company’s extensive corporate university infrastructure to develop a sustainable pipeline of skilled professionals.
  • Right-fit Operating Models:
Offering multiple frameworks, including Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT), assisted builds, joint ventures and partner-hosted models.
