Experienced financial services leader joins to bolster SME support through strategic vendor partnerships
Bibby Asset Finance (BAF), the asset finance arm of Bibby Financial Services (BFS), has appointed Hein Grobler as Senior Business Development Manager within its Vendor channel, as the firm sharpens its focus on supporting UK SMEs through tailored finance solutions.
Bringing nearly three decades of experience across banking and financial services, Grobler has developed a strong track record in asset-based lending and working capital products. In his new position, he will lead initiatives to strengthen BAF’s vendor finance offering, build strategic alliances, and extend the company’s footprint across key markets.
During his previous tenure at South Africa’s Merchant West, Grobler held a senior sales leadership role where he expanded the firm’s asset finance portfolio by 32 per cent. He also pioneered several innovative financing tools, including a supplier quotation platform and dedicated funding programmes for veterinary practices.
