Over 65 national and local employers will be in attendance at the huge recruitment event – including The AA, NHS, Nissan, Rightmove, British Army and many more

The Newcastle Careers Fair will make its highly-anticipated return to the city on November 3, organisers have confirmed.

Running from 10am until 2pm, the bustling recruitment event will take place at St James’ Park and play host to dozens of employers – with hundreds of vacancies up for grabs for people of all backgrounds and education levels.

More than 65 national and local businesses are pitching up for the day, with a medley of big names in attendance including the British Army, Compass Group UK, Lidl, The AA, Rightmove, Zenith People, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Trust, North East Ambulance Service, the Fire & Rescue Service and the University of Sunderland.

Automobile giant Nissan will also be recruiting at the event.

Eilidh Newland of the Recruitment & Apprenticeships department at Nissan UK commented: “We’re delighted to be back connecting with new talent in person.

“We are looking forward to discussing kick-starting candidates’ careers in manufacturing or maintenance at our world-class manufacturing plant.”

Other exhibitors at the careers fair will span multiple sectors including property, finance, apprenticeships, recruitment, charity, education, pharmaceuticals, training, healthcare, leisure, retail, technology, and health & safety.

The event is organised by UK Careers Fair – a major networking platform for candidates and employers across the country.

The Newcastle Careers Fair will take place on Wednesday 3rd November, 10am – 2pm, at St James’ Park football stadium, Strawberry Place, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4ST.  

The stadium is located just a 12-minute walk from the Newcastle train station.
