Thursday, April 4th – Gujarat Titans (GT) vs Punjab Kings (PBKS) Match 17

On Thursday, it is Titans vs. Punjab Kings, two sides that have had a positive start to this year’s IPL. Shubman Gill captains GT as they look to stop Shikhar Dhawan in his tracks as the PBKS captain hunts another top batting score for his side as he did against RCB, just 5 off of a half-century. Meanwhile, Jonny Bairstow hopes to score some valuable runs for his side after a disappointing start. GT will be hoping to see a repeat of Sai Sudharsan’s player-of-the-match performance against MI to help get them the win.

Friday, April 5th  – Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Match 18

A mouthwatering tie bound to bring some stunning cricket as SRH take on champions CSK in Match 18. Pat Cummins’s side is having a mixed tournament, with a disappointing loss in their first match but coming back with one of the best games so far against MI. Meanwhile, Champions Super Kings, as expected, have dominated their fixtures so far and saw them take a 6-wicket win in Match 1 against RCB. Top-order batters and all-rounders Rachin Ravindra and Shivam Dube have performed well, with much more still to come.

Saturday sees RR vs RCB in their second match of the week in a fixture full of top talent and India test teammates. The Royals’ top order batters, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler, are a huge threat, while RCB have Virat Kohli with the bat and Mohammed Siraj with the ball, two players Jaiswal will be very used to playing with. Cameron Green has been great with the ball for the Challengers too, alongside Australia’s Glen Maxwell, who could come up against Aussie teammate Adam Zampa bowling for the Royals.

Sunday, April 7th – Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) vs Gujarat Titans (GT) Match 20

Ending the week is LSG vs GT in Match 20 as captains and Indian teammates KL Rahul (LSG) and Shubman Gill (GT) go head-to-head. In Gill’s first season of IPL captaincy, he will be hoping for a repeat of last year’s results over his opponents. In the two meetings between these sides in the 2023 tournament, GT took both victories by 7 runs and 56 runs, respectively. LSG will be hoping to inflict the same result on GT and a win in this match would make the score 1-2.
