New enhancements in the Exabeam Nova Advisor Agent and Outcomes Navigator bring operationalised benchmarking for proactive security operations.

Exabeam, a global leader in intelligence and automation for security operations, has announced the launch of security posture benchmarking for proactive security within Exabeam Nova, a core agentic AI component of its New-Scale Security Operations Platform. For the first time, security leaders can anonymously benchmark their security posture against similar organisations using configurable parameters such as industry, region and company size. This innovation represents a significant step forward in enabling security teams to prioritise resources, justify investments, demonstrate value and align operational execution with strategic objectives.

Powered by the Exabeam Nova Advisor Agent within Outcomes Navigator, the new embedded benchmarking capability analyses threat detection telemetry and configuration data to assess coverage across MITRE ATT&CK® techniques and real-world use cases. It then compares results against peer organisations to provide continuously updated scores that reflect the maturity of their security operations. This allows SOC teams to identify coverage gaps, target improvements in detection coverage and compile leadership-ready updates.

“Security teams are done playing defense. With this release, we’re giving them the tools to go on offense,” said Steve Wilson, Chief AI and Product Officer at Exabeam. “We’ve turned benchmarking into operational data that drives smarter decisions, tighter attack and use case coverage, and faster action. In just six months, we’ve moved from launch to delivering capabilities others are still sketching on whiteboards. This is proactive security in motion.”

“This release reflects our unbridled commitment to innovation that delivers real, measurable value for our customers,” said Chris O’Malley, Chief Executive Officer at Exabeam. “We’re not innovating for the sake of headlines — we’re building capabilities that solve the hardest challenges security leaders face. With benchmarking now embedded into Exabeam Nova, we’re empowering our customers to lead with data, drive strategic outcomes, and operate with clarity and confidence. It’s a redefining moment for Exabeam, and for the future of security operations committed to continuous improvement.”

The current release also introduces business-aware risk scoring, enabling SOC teams to prioritise threats based on their real organisational impact. By customising detection rule severity — low, medium, high or critical — security teams can reduce alert fatigue, improve triage accuracy and focus analysts’ attention where it matters most.

Recent collaborations with Cribl and DataBahn have further enhanced organisations’ ability to streamline telemetry ingestion, reduce search and storage costs, and retain full-fidelity data for detection and compliance purposes. In addition, Exabeam has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud by introducing agent behaviour analytics to bring insider threat detection to AI agents. Leveraging telemetry from Google Agentspace and Google Cloud Model Armor, this capability helps organisations monitor digital insiders and protect against a new wave of hybrid threats.

Together, these advancements strengthen the New-Scale Platform by delivering integrated, future-ready capabilities designed to help security teams meet emerging challenges with agility and precision.
