●  Bo+Tee launched a new activewear collection by US fitness model and actress, Jena Frumes

●  The brand has announced that a proportion of the sales from the collection will be donated to UK charity CoppaFeel! in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

●  CoppaFeel! are the first breast cancer charity in the UK to solely create awareness amongst young people

As October marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bo+Tee wanted to do something to honour a cause they feel strongly about. The activewear brand have recently been running activations to raise money for Prevent Breast Cancer UK, where they gave a donation from sales generated from all pink items sold across 1 week. However, they didn’t want their efforts to end there.

On Tuesday 26th October 2021, Bo+Tee released a brand new collection by New Jersey fitness model and actress Jena Frumes, in association with CoppaFeel!. The activewear brand and Jena Frumes proudly announced they would be making a donation from the sales of this collection to the UK charity.

CoppaFeel! is the first breast cancer charity in the UK to solely create awareness amongst young people specifically. Their aim is to educate young people and provide them with the tools they need to get to know their bodies, and recognise when something isn’t quite right. The charity says: “We like to talk about a serious message in a light hearted way, empowering people to start healthy habits for life.”

CoppaFeel’s vision is for everyone to have the best possible chance of surviving breast cancer. They want to live in a world where all breast cancers are diagnosed at the earliest stage possible, at which treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher.

Most recently, the charity released a new campaign, #KnowYourself, to increase awareness of breast cancer in 18-24 year olds. ‘Know Yourself’ is a celebration of self-discovery and exploration – an unfiltered and honest portrait of getting to know who you are. CoppaFeel! said: “Breast cancer can affect anybody, at any age, but a quarter of young people aren’t aware they could be at risk. That’s we want you to #KnowYourself. Touch your boobs, feel your pecs, discover your chest and get to know what’s normal for you.”

Jenna Chick, Partnerships Manager at CoppaFeel! said:
“We are so excited to be supported by Bo+Tee as part of the Intensity by Jena Frumes collection. The funds raised through the sales of the collection this week will help us to achieve our mission; to educate every young person on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to check regularly and empower them to seek advice from their doctors if they notice any unusual changes to their chest.

Breast cancer can affect any body, but our research has found that a quarter of young people aren’t aware that they could be at risk. We need the support of partners like Bo+Tee to ensure more people start checking, get to know themselves and develop healthy habits for life. A huge thank you to Bo+Tee and Jena for supporting CoppaFeel!, all in the name of boobs!”

The collection can be shopped now on www.boandtee.com in a range of black tones and green shades. You can choose from sizes XXS-XL and prices vary from £12-30.
